James T "Jim" Peterson , 50, of Spring HIll passed away Sunday, September 23, 2007 at his home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2007 at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Webster, Spring HIll, KS.  Burial at Spring HIll Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Life Spring Church or his Daughters' Education Fund.  Jim was born August 5, 1957 in Kansas City, MO to Dick and Donna (Parvis) Peterson.  He graduated with a BS in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.  He married Vicki Burtzloff on April 24, 1982 in Tombstone, AZ.  They moved to Spring Hill from Phoenix in 1997 where he had worked for Allied Signal.  JIm was a Vice President of Risk Management for YRC Worldwide, Overland Park for the last 10 years.  He was a member of the Life Spring Church, Spring HIll.  His family was his whole lfe.  JIm will be dearly missed by family and friends.  He is survived by his wife of the home; stepson John "Jamie" Burtzloff, Thousand Oaks, CA, daughters Ashley Dawn, Alison Diane and Amyee Danelle of the home, parents Dick and Donna Peterson, Tombstone, AZ, sisters Janet Sinn, Lane, KS, and Patty Kearney, San Antonio, TX; three grandchildren Timothy, Trevor, and Josie.
