
TOPEKA, Kan. (KCTV) - Flags are set to fly at half-staff in the Sunflower State at the end of February in honor of a late state representative.
Kansas Governor Laura Kelly says that on Monday, Feb. 24, she will order all flags in the state to be flown at half-staff in honor of former State Representative Robert “Bob” Tomlinson. The order is expected to last between sunrise and sunset.
“Representative Tomlinson had a long and storied career in public service,” Gov. Kelly said. “His contributions have significantly influenced our state. My condolences go out to his family.”
