Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Amos Family Chapel, Shawnee, for Rebecca Dawn Cook Thompson, 34, Overland Park, who died October 28, 1991 at the home.  She was born in Kansas City and lived in Kansas City, Kan, and Merriam most of her life.  She moved to Overland Park in June, 1991.  She formerly was a secretary for an insurance company.  She was a Baptist.  She attended the Kansas City Christian School and was a 1975 graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School and attended Johnson County Community College in 1976.  Among the survivors is a sister, Suzanne E. True, Raymore.  Also surviving are a son, Ronald Dean Thompson, and a daughter, Ali Dawn Thompson, both of Merriam. three step-daughters, Terry Ellison, Kansas City, and Sandi Sue Thompson and Jodi Kay Thompson of Florida, her parents, Alfred H. and Donna R. Cook of Merriam, three brothers, Fred E. Cook, Dallas, Donald R. Cook, Lawrence, and Thomas A.A. Cook, St. Louis, and two other sisters, Nancy Jo Loveless, Kansas City, and Jane A. Reynolds, Hattieville, Ark.  Burial will be in the Pleasanton Kansas Cemetery.
